Create a strong, flexible and weather-resistant seal with this 500ml neutral cure silicone sealant, designed for a wide range of indoor and outdoor sealing, glazing and construction applications. The neutral-curing formula is suitable for many common building materials including glass, aluminium, metal, ceramic, stone and compatible painted surfaces, while helping reduce the corrosion risk associated with acidic curing sealants. Once cured, it forms a flexible waterproof seal that can cope with normal movement, expansion and contraction in building joints.
-
Neutral Cure & Non-Corrosive: Designed to cure without releasing the strong acidic substances associated with some traditional silicone sealants, making it suitable for many materials including aluminium, metal, glass, marble, granite, ceramics and compatible painted surfaces.
-
Waterproof & Weatherproof Seal: Creates a durable barrier against rain, moisture and everyday weather exposure, making it suitable for interior and exterior jobs including windows, doors, exterior wall joints, sunrooms, curtain walls and general building maintenance.
-
Strong Adhesion to Common Building Materials: Bonds well to suitable glass, aluminium, metal, stone, ceramic and other compatible construction surfaces, making it useful for glazing, frame sealing, aluminium composite panels and general construction work.
-
Flexible After Curing: Remains elastic once cured, allowing the seal to move with normal expansion and contraction in joints. This helps reduce cracking or separation around window frames, door frames, exterior panels and other areas exposed to temperature changes.
-
UV, Heat & Cold Resistant: Designed for outdoor durability and resistance to sunlight and changing weather conditions. Product information indicates a working temperature range of approximately -40°C to +150°C, making it suitable for demanding exterior applications.
-
Ideal for Windows, Doors & Glazing: Use around suitable window and door frames to help improve weather sealing, reduce water penetration and create a neater finished joint. It is also suitable for compatible glass curtain walls and glazing applications.
-
Suitable for Construction & Exterior Joints: Useful for curtain walls, sunrooms, aluminium composite panels, exterior walls, building joints and other areas that require a flexible, weather-resistant seal.
-
Useful Around Kitchens & Bathrooms: Can be used for suitable joints around sinks, countertops and similar areas where a moisture-resistant flexible seal is required. It is not intended for continuous underwater immersion.
-
Suitable for Metal Roofing & Maintenance: Can be used on compatible seams and joints in metal roofing, gutters and similar repair or maintenance work where waterproof sealing and flexibility are needed.
-
Large 500ml Sausage Pack: Each pack contains approximately 500ml of sealant and measures around 32cm long × 4.5cm wide, providing a practical quantity for larger jobs or multiple sealing areas.
-
White Application Nozzle Included: Supplied with a tapered white nozzle that fits a compatible sausage sealant gun, allowing the silicone to be directed neatly into joints and gaps and helping create a more controlled bead.
-
Practical Coverage for Larger Jobs: Based on the supplied product information, one 500ml pack may cover approximately 17–20 metres with a 5mm bead or around 8–10 metres with a 10mm bead, depending on bead depth and application conditions.
-
Easy to Apply: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material. Load the sausage into a compatible caulking gun, attach the nozzle, cut the tip to the required bead size and apply an even continuous line of sealant.
-
Easy to Finish Neatly: Smooth the silicone shortly after application while it is still workable to improve contact with the surface and create a cleaner finish. Remove excess sealant before it begins to skin.
-
Model 9900 – White or Black Available: Supplied as Model 9900 neutral weatherproof silicone sealant, with white or black colour options available depending on the variation selected.
